Chas Blackmore
Chas is a highly experienced consultant to the finishing industry, with special emphasis on all aspects of thermoplastics powder coatings.
Throughout a long career in the chemical engineering industry, Chas has held senior positions in project and commercial management with several international companies. His main specialisation is in project management of the design and installation of coating application plant.
He has presented papers and had various works published in corrosion and finishing journals. He was co-author the book on surface finishing entitled “Plastics and Resin Compositions” published by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
He is a long-time Member of the Institute of Metal Finishing; Member of the Institute of Corrosion and Associate of the Welding Institute.
